Taking the request to apply the inkjet technique to the high-viscous liquids, we improved the continuous inkjet technique, in which the liquid was emitted from the capillary tube with constant pressure. We constructed the control method of the droplets applying the Maxwell force to the droplets, with which the on-off operation of the continuous inkjet was enabled. Using our technique, droplets with wide range of the surface tension and viscosity are able to be generated and controlled. Observing the generating droplet, we can measure the surface tension and the viscosity of the liquid. |
