| (in English) | In this report we consider a problem of finding nearest larger elements using only constant work space in addition to an input read-only array. In particular, we show the problem is solved in an efficient way if data are given on a one-dimensional array, Further, the problem is solved in the same asymptotic time bound even if there are duplicate elements. Extension to 2-dimensional case is also considered. \end{eabstract} |
