The present paper describes a sophisticated procedure of generating ISO-compliant catalogs dedicatedly for a mechanical element of ‘gears’ on the basis of suppliers’ business catalogs. This procedure is distinctive in that it involves the compilation of a ‘parts library dictionary’ conforming to ISO13584, the so-called ‘PLIB dictionary’, where the architecture can be easily applied to other mechanical elements, for which the PLIB compilation has not yet been attempted. |
