| (in English) | In this paper, we present our analysis results on the effects of the CSI-RS of LTE-Advanced, which is used for channel state information estimation by LTE-Advanced terminals, on the performance of the LTE terminal, especially when it employs Space-Frequency Block Coding (SFBC). CSI-RS is inserted periodically by LTE-advanced base station so that LTE-advanced terminals can estimate the channel state information from the base station to them; however, CSI-RS causes the performance loss of downlink communication because the LTE terminal cannot recognize the existence of the CSI-RS, and it assumes CSI-RS as a part of the data. We also show analytical /simulation results on the method for creating CSI-RS which have the least impacts on the LTE terminal with SFBC receiver. | |
