Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB) provides high definition television (HDTV) and mobile broadcasting service. There have been demands for the reception of HDTV service by moving terminals because of the development of high-definition car navigation systems in recent years. However, decode quality is largely influenced by multipath fading and Doppler shift in mobile environment.
In this paper, we verify a scheme which improves mobile reception for HDTV of DTTB in fast fading channel by using carrier synchronization and using maximum ratio combining (MRC) diversity. |
