An improved SPM method is proposed and utilized to estimate location of EM sources which radiate unwanted EM noises in electronic devices. The improved SPM method is based on the substitution of original devices by an equivalent set of small current sources, which radiate the same near field and it is proved numerically that this method is valid in estimating location of multiple coherent sources having phase difference. In this report, numerous experimental studies is performed and the validity of the improved SPM method is demonstrated by comparison between numerical and experimental results. |
