A Proposal of Complex Electromagnetic Field Measurement Method

A method for measuring complex electromagnetic fields is proposed. The method is based on a network with two input ports and four output ports, i.e., a six-port network, where two voltage sources picked up by two EM probes are estimated in magnitude ratio and phase difference from powers measured at the output ports. An appropriate network is discussed based on the scattering matrix. The proposed network consists of quadrature hybrids. To confirm the proposed network, an experimental example is shown. |
