Scenario generation method using scenario parts

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In scenario based software requirements elicitation, a lot of scenarios should be written. We propose a scenario generation method using scenario parts in order to improve both the quality and the productivity of scenarios. We provide scenario parts by (a) deriving scenario parts of each unit of processes, such as user authentication, payment of goods from existing scenarios and by (b) substituting abstract nouns for concrete nouns in the derived scenario parts. These scenario parts will be stored into a scenario parts data base. We can generate a new scenario by retrieving scenario parts with selected processes, by combining retrieved scenarios, and by substituting concrete nouns for abstract nouns.
