Characteristics of Loop Antennas Closely-Placed to Different Arm Models

(in English) The consideration of the interaction between the antenna and the human body is important in the design of the antenna used for the wireless communication devices in close proximity to the human body. In general, in order to evaluate the interaction of them, homogeneous phantom is used. However, a few studies are confirmed the validity of the homogeneous model. In this report, the loop antenna was arranged near a homogeneous model and a layer structural model, and the difference of antenna input impedances by structure of model were measured. As a result, it was confirmed that the human tissue structure had an effect on the antenna characteristics when the antenna was placed proximally as is the case with the calculation result.
