Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Nowadays GPS (Global Positioning System) is used as estimation of present place and movement route estimation of migration pathway in outdoor. But, the antenna is necessary, and GPS have the problem with the difficulty presumption of the direction of height .There is something to which the migration pathway is presumed with an three-axis acceleration sensor, a giyrosensor, and a terrestrial magnetism sensor, but wearable, ubiquitous, and mobile are described and the power saving, low-cost, and the miniaturization are requested this society. We propose the method of estimation of present place and movement rout estimation of migration pathway by using only one small, cheap three-axis acceleration sensor. In the present study, the system that estimation of present place is made from the data obtained by installing the acceleration sensor in end parts of a foot, and the effectiveness of the proposal technique is shown by the experiment.
