The G-lambda project has been established an interface enabling Grid/Cloud middleware to dynamically allocate and reserve distributed resources including network paths, computers, storages. Fenius, under development by GLIF (Global Lambda Integrated Facility), aims to be a universal proxy for enabling interoperability among dynamic network path provisioning systems using a single common provisioning interface. In this paper, we describe the overview of Fenius, and the cooperation between the network resource manager in the G-lambda system and Fenius. We also report experiments in GLIF Workshop 2009 and SC 2009, where we have demonstrated the interoperability between network path provisioning systems using Fenius. |
