| (in English) | Fretting corrosion is the serious problem with the miniaturization of the automotive connector. If fretting corrosion happens, contact resistance will increase, and it will cause trouble. In this study, we investigated effect of liquid paraffin (as the contact oil) which restrain fretting corrosion. As a result, when we use liquid paraffin, the peak of contact resistance was three orders of magnitude less, and the peak of fretting cycles increased by three orders. We observed the details of contact surface to clarify the mechanism of liquid paraffin effect for the fretting corrosion. |
