Traitor Tracing system with Constant-size Public-key and Ciphertext using q-ary fingerprinting codes

(in English) A traitor tracing system enables a publisher to trace a pirate decryption box to one of the secret keys used to create the box. In 2008, Boneh and Naor proposed a traitor tracing system where ciphertext size is constant,namely independent of the number of users in the system and the collusion bound. Their system uses a collusion secure fingerprint code and the size of the public key and the secret key depends on the length of the code. Due to the long code length of fingerprint codes, the sizes of the public and secret keys become very large. In 2009,Douman et al. improved the traitor tracing system to have constant size public key by using an ID-based encryption scheme.However, the size of secret key still depends on the length of a fingerprint code. In this paper, we extend their methods using q-ary fingerprint codes. The size of public key and ciphertext are constant. The size of the secret key reduced to 20% when q = 10.
