A Method of Impact Noise Reduction in Speech Signal with Gaussian-Mixed Type Adaptive Wiener Filter

(in English) Authors proposed before a method for reducing impact noise in speech signal. It detects contaminated parts of speech sequence using stationary-nonstationary separating filter and then noise reduction is performed by applying gaussian-mixed type adaptive wiener filter. However, the method requires the knowledge about the noise duration time, which is supposed to be the same in the whole speech sequence. Thus, it is difficult to reduce multiple types of impact noise because they have different duration time. In this paper, we propose a new method which classifies the noise type using the non-stationary component of stationary-nonstationary separating filter and performs gaussian-mixed type adaptive wiener filter. This enables sufficient reduction of multiple types of impact noise in a speech sequence. It is also possible to select the proper noise model for every noise. Computer simulation shows the high performance of the proposed method.
