Analysis for Transmit Power Control Based on Modulation Identification

(in English) In this paper, we consider the transmit power control (TPC) based on modulation identification. In the considered TPC, the location of receiver in primary system (PS) is specified by the modulation identification in terms of pre-divided area. As a result, the interference level from the transmitter of secondary system (SS) to the receiver of PS is estimated. After that, the transmit power of SS is decided as the interference level is smaller than noise level. However, the interference may become larger than the noise level due to miss area specification and channel fluctuation. In this paper, the area construction for reducing miss area specification and the power margin for compensating channel fluctuation are considered for the TPC based on modulation identification. From the computer simulation, the considered TPC can achieve larger transmitter power and the smaller occurrence probability of the interference power over noise level than 1%.
