QoS Effect of Flow Control Scheme using Adaptive Receiving Opportunity Control for Wireless Multi-hop Networks

(in English) In wireless multi-hop networks, network resource is greatly used due to the congestion by excessive inflow of low priority traffic. Furthermore, QoS (Quality of Service) guarantee becomes difficult. This paper proposes a scheme to guarantee QoS of high priority flow in wireless multi-hop networks by performing the adaptive flow control by using ROC (Receiving Opportunity Control in MAC Frame) which is the QoS control scheme. Edge APs estimate network capacity by using feedback information, and decide prevention probability of ROC according to traffic load by using a throughput analysis model. Simulation evaluation results show that the proposed scheme guarantees QoS more effectively.
