Accuracy Improvement of BOF/DWPR Temperature Sensing Using a Reference BOF

(in English) When an optical fiber sensor using a BOF (Band-pass filter On fiber-end) is applied to a DWPR (Dual Wavelength Push-pull Reflectometry) system, the level and wavelength fluctuations of laser output in the DWPR system cause the measurement error. To reduce the error, a BOF is adopted as a reference, and the difference between the sensing BOF and the reference BOF is measured. Analysis and Examination show that this method is very effective for the reduction of the measurement error.
