Virtual Colonoscopy, which doctor examine virtual colon reconstructed from X-ray CT volume data, attract attention as a method of screening for colon. We need to empty our colon, because bowel fluid and feces become shadow failure on X-ray CT image. But method for empting our colon take a toll on our body. As the method which redress burden, the image processing method for removing bowel fluid and feces using volume data on which CT value of bowel fluid and feces is high by contrast material was proposed. But, doctor need to decide parameter for image processing to every cases, because CT value fluctuate by individual difference. We propose the automatic method using distribution and gradient of CT value for removing bowel fluid and feces. |
