Generalization and speed-up of optical plug and play techniques

(in English) We proposes optical plug and play techniques for automatically configuring a network. The techniques consist of automatic configuration and exchange of component parameters. The techniques reduce manual operation labor needed to commence services and simplify management activities. We targets whole optical networks consisting of routers and optical cross connects for optical plug and play, and describe its architecture requirements and necessary processes. Additionally, to solve a problem about increase of plug and play processing time along the increase of network size, we propose a link-up interface search mechanism which considers WDM group, and evaluation results are reported.
