We are developing MRI microscope that can take high spatial resolution images of small animals such as the medaka which is a model animal of vertebrata. It is important to aquire high signal to noise ratio for high spatial resolution. We developed probe for MRI microscope with 14.1T Superconductivity magnet to enhance NMR signal. We made plain X Y Z gradient coil and solenoid RF coil which has high signal to noise ratio in one component so that we can shorten distance of gradient coils and obtain strong gradient intensity. Now we can take image of the medaka with (20m)3 spatial resolution. Besides we can think that it can be useful to analyze mechanism of origin of cancer by morphological comparing knockout the medaka of P53 genes to wildtype the medaka. So we think it valuable for basic medicine. |
