Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Plasmas behave like metals to electromagnetic waves at frequencies below the plasma frequency. We have confirmed electromagnetic waves propagate along plasma arrays at the range of frequency analytically and experimentally. The phenomenon is like the interaction of localized surface plasmons on the surface of metals. Here, we analized the phenomenon with 2D FDTD method and explored several possibilities of plasmas for control devices of electromagnetic waves.
