An unavailability simulation of telecommunication networks based on the actual outage data -- Reproduction of the correlation between outage scale and maintenance time --

(in English) The authors have been insisted on the importance of reliability management for IP networks constructed of commercial equipments, and established the management measures using the actual outage data. The results using our methods should be reflected to develop the next generation networks or equipments. Therefore, a method is required to face this issue.
In past, we proposed a method to simulate the unavailability of telecommunication networks. And we also validated the reappearance of
simulation through the comparison to the actual unavailability for a IP network. Through the simulation, we derive a reliability management object from simulation and evolution into the design of telecommunication networks.
In large scale outages, there is a weak and negative correlation between outage scale and maintenance time. This correlation is reproduced by the experimental method in our simulation. However, the validity of this method does not be proved.
In this paper, we propose another method to reproduce the correlation using the quantification method of social influence for outages in telecommunication networks. By using this method, the precision of simulation turns up.
