Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The dementia patients in Japan increase year by year and become the big social problem. It is thought that the working memory which is a part of the short-term memory is related to a fall of the intellectual ability that is a main symptom of the dementia. A lot of delayed-recall task are used for the usability test of the working memory. We exhibited four kinds of different ovals of the degree of leaning this time at a moment and made an original delayed-recall task to let you draw it after delay line progress and imposed it for an advanced aged healthy person with a youth healthy person and inspected the effectiveness as the delayed-recall task. As a result of having analyzed this measurement data in six kinds of parameters, We were able to confirm increase of the delay line significantly. In addition, it was observed that several parameter values of patients with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease exceeded those of normal subjects. Therefore, it was suggested that the presented method was effective as a delayed-recall task.
