A Forced Chaos Generator with a Variable Active Inductor Circuit -- Influences of the External Forcing Input --

(in English) We proposed a forced chaotic generator with a CMOS variable active inductor circuit.In the circuit, the external forcing input was a periodic square wave with the duty ratio of 50 \%.The mechanism of the obtained chaotic behavior was the switching between two different periodic solutions by the external force.In this paper, we first investigate the behavior of the circuit when the duty ratio of the square wave is varied.In addition, we use a sinsoidal wave form as the external force.Second, we replace two passive resistors in the circuit by MOS resistors.When we use CMOS resistors as the MOS resistors, the resulting circuit shows almost the same behavior as the original circuit.In contrast, where NMOSFETs are utilized as the MOS resistors, we can obtain chaotic responces by applying a square wave external force through the gate terminals of the NMOSFETs.The proposed circuits are confirmed through SPICE simulations with TSMC 0.35μm CMOS process parameters.
