A Study on Buried Multi-target Position Estimation and Material Judgment of Target by UWB Ground Penetrating Radar

(in English) Ground penetrating radar (GPR) detects buried object nondestructive using electromagnetic wave has been put to practical use. In the underground exploration with GPR, it is needed to determine position and material of buried object as accurately as possible. But, because of the virtual image and Insufficient criterion, it is difficult to inquire into the high trust. In this paper, we entertain positional estimation method be possible to reduce the virtual image and determine material of buried object. We use the reflected waves of buried object calculated according to the material and the figure of object. In addition, the reflected waves are recieved as a greatly different feature wave in the metal and each nonmetal. we entertain determination method of the material of buried object. We evaluate the performance by using a simple underground model.
