Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The previous leaky-wave antennas using CRLH-TL have been constructed by periodic structure with uniform unit cell,so that improvement of a side-lobe level is difficult. To the end, it is required that the attenuation constant is continuouslyvaried a along the antenna axis.So in this paper, we propose the unit cell group of CRLH-TL in which the attenuation constants are different each other keeping the same phase constant to realize such an antenna. The element of the cell group proposed here have same unit length, different from the previous elements. The usefulness of the proposed cell group is verified numerically and experimentally.
