Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Mixing multiple media streams such as images, audio and transition effects so as to harmonize the visual and auditory impression is one of the video editing expertise to raise the quality of an edited video. In order
to emulate such editing expertise, this paper proposes a method of semiautomatically mixing music with raw video shot sequence by 1) appropriate music selection, 2) audio boundary extraction, 3) edited segment extraction, and 4) transition effect selection based on the co-occurrence relation and the temporal pattern of image and audio low
level features within the video exemplars edited by experts.
