Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A Wide Area Ubiquitous Network (WAUN) as a new wireless network to build ubiquitous society has been proposed. In the network for ubiquitous society, there are an extremely large number of terminals, for example micro-miniature sensors and actuators. Generally these terminals handle small data, and demand to drive by battery with long life. In order to meet the requirement, we employ low transmission rate; 9,600bit/s and wide coverage; several kilometers by VHF band, which is expected low propagation loss and effective diffraction. In WAUN, the frequency resource should be used effectively because an extremely large number of terminals share low transmission rate.
We focus on the data sequence and propose the resource reservation scheme for effective frequency resource utilization. This paper describes the proposed resource reservation scheme, and estimated result by simulation. The results of the evaluation demonstrate the proposed scheme is effective.
