An Icon-linked Sticky Note Which Is Visible from Upper Directories

(in English) In this paper, an icon-linked electronic sticky note is introduced. The proposed sticky note is easy to be attached to or removed from the file icon with intuitive manner. Furthermore, user can know the existence of sticky note from the upper directories with automatically created sticky note on the directories. As a result of experiment, it is found that the proposed sticky note can shorten time for searching annotations. With the subjective evaluation, it is also found that the user can easily find the annotation using the proposed sticky note.
