| (in English) | In this paper, safety performance evaluation of a VII (Vehicle Infrastructure Integration) driving assistance systems by a microscopic traffic simulator that considers shadowing in the road-to-vehicle communication. In this study, we assume that VII driving assistance system of the collision warning system type are used and the safety performance to the system penetration rate is evaluated by a microscopic traffic simulator. Simulation result shows that the average accident interval to the heavy vehicle ratio improves as penetration rate increases while the average accident interval becomes small if the heavy vehicle ratio increases. It is shown that average accident interval whose penetration rate is 60% increases to twice that of the average accident interval whose penetration rate is 0%. Moreover, it is shown that average accident interval whose penetration rate is 80% becomes it from 2.5 to 3.5 times average accident interval whose penetration rate is 0% | |
