Recent years, Ultra-wideband (UWB) system can be seen as a promising technique to realize in-car wireless communication. This is because UWB system has a possibility to solve the problem of the increasing weight and deployment cost of complicated wire harness in a commercial vehicle. In this paper, we evaluate the coverage area of MB-OFDM UWB system by combining the transmission performance of MB-OFDM with actual in-car propagation characteristics. |
