Coarse to Fine Approach for Object Category Detection using Appearance of Local Features

(in English) Sliding window is the most popular approach to detect position of an object in an image. However it is well known that primates pay selective attention to saliecncy point as a candidate of object area.
In this paper, we propose coarse to ne approach to detect object using apearance of local feature without sliding window. We adopted C2 feature of "standard model of visual cortex" proposed by Serre, and select object candidate using the appearance of these features.
We evaluated our model by UIUC Car dataset, and con rmed its value.
