Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This study considers a system which can be in either a GOOD or BAD state
and which deteriorates stochastically in discrete times. Operator selects
one of the following actions; operation, inspection, repair or replacement by earning some information of the system. When operation
is selected, he can decide whether to use a monitor or not. After
operation, the ture system can not detected. On the otherhand, after
inspection, the true state can be detected without fail. In this study, we express the system with multiple observations as POMDP(Partially
Observable Markov Decision Processes)model. we establish the propaties of an optimal maintenance policy minimizing the total expected discount
