Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we study a performance evaluation method for moving talker tracking methods. In general, correct values are needed for calculating the mean-square-error of estimation results. However, the enormous costs and works are required to measure the correct values. In this study, we propose a performance evaluation method based on PESQ which is known as the evaluation criterion of speech quality. Then, an extracted sound by the minimum variance method using the tracking results is used to measure the PESQ value. Several experimental results show that the method using PESQ enable to evaluate the performance of the moving talker tracking method.
