A Relay Packet Transmission Control Scheme for Multihop Wireless ALOHA Network Coding

(in English) Wireless access systems employing wireless relay nodes have been studied for removing degital devides and blind zone areas. On the other hand, network coding is a highly regarded technology to enhance the system throughput and to decrease the delay for wireless relay networks. In this manusprict, we propose a packet collison avoidance scheme for the relay nodes in which predetermined slots are assigned to the relay nodes to avoid any packet collisons between relay nodes. We evaluate throughput and delay of the coding packet transmission control schemes with the proposed packet collison avoidance scheme, and show that the proposed schemes can achieve lower delay as compared with the conventional schemes when throughput is higher. Also, we show that the poposed schemes can update higher throughput and lower delay by adapting the parameters of the proposed schemes to the previous throughput.
