| (in English) | It was shown that spatial aliasing such as Moire fringes in 2D images was reduced in the process of shrinking images by 3D texture mapping method with anti-aliasing effects. For this new method to be an effective resizing method for 2D images, relationship formula between size of object on display window and a field of view of the window was also presented. As an applicable method for reduction of image size, it was tested for reducing a huge tessellated image and the result was found to be successful to mitigate aliasing in the image. | |
