Low molecular organic light-emitting devices with highly-conducting polymer poly(3,4- etylenedioxythiophene)- polystyrenesulfonic acid (PEDOT:PSS) as anode were fabricated and investigated. The maximum Luminance of 9000 cd/m2 and maximum efficiency of 2.6 cd/A were obtained, but the emission wasn’t even across the light-emitting area. By fabricating methoxy-substituted 1,3,5-tris [4-(diphennylamino)phenyl]benzene (TDAPB) on the polymer anode by wet processing, the evenness of the light- emitting area and the device characteristics were improved because of the improvement of the roughness of the anode surface. For poly(2,7-(9,9-di-n-octylfluorene) -alt-(1,4-phenylene-((4-sec-butylphenyl)imino-1,4-phenylene)))(TFB) as a hole injection layer by wet processing the device characteristics were improved. The max luminance of 15000 cd/m2, the max efficiency of 4.4 cd/A wrer achieved. Especially, the device’s lifetime was markedly improved. The capacitance characteristics with degradation were measured. With degradation capacitance peaks of PEDOT or PEDOT/TFB device was decreased. But that of PEDOT/TFB device was increased. |
