Suppression of asynchronous inter-system interference in the overlay transmission system

(in English) This paper proposes an asynchronous inter-system interference cancellation method for the overlay transmission system on wireless LAN with RTS/CTS exchange. The proposed system is expected for overlay transmission operating in ISM bands such as 2.4\,GHz band. Therefore, the system has to cope with asynchronous inter-system interference because not only CSMA/CA systems but also FH-SS systems such as Bluetooth and cordless phone are operated in ISM bands. In order to suppress the asynchronous inter-system interference, the proposed system updates antenna weights by a decision-directed manner in a data period subsequent to a preamble period. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed through computer simulations assuming a multipath fading channel.
