In order to reduce the operators’ work when periodically inspecting the outside cables in NTT, a remotely measurement system is required, which enables us to measure the cable height of a huge number of aerial cable crossing roads effectively. This paper describes a cable height measurement system using pulse-echo technique which is embedded in a maintenance vehicle. |
