In transparent optical networks, the optical path accommodation design must consider the continuous wavelength allocation constraint from source to destination and the transmission impairment constraint. The optical path accommodation schemes considering those two constraints are classified into the pre-planning scheme and the post-planning scheme. In this paper, we propose the re-allocation scheme in the pre-planning scheme in order to minimize the expansion of the facility cost even in the case of demand fluctuation and clarify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through quantitative evaluation. |
