Performance of Multi-hop Cooperative Networks Using STBC Technique

(in English) In multi-hop cooperative networks, multiple relay stations are employed at each hop in order to enhance its transmission performance. The performance of multi-hop cooperative networks is well investigated by computer simulations. The transceivers for multi-hop cooperative networks using space-time block code is developed in order to evaluate the performance of them in real propagation channels. In this paper, an experiment of multi-hop cooperative networks is conducted with these transceivers. The transceivers are implemented on field programmable gate arrays, which performs real-time signal processing. Synchronization of timing and carrier frequency among wireless stations is established based on received signals. The performance is evaluated in terms of the number of positions where the frame error ratio is below certain value.
