(in English) Efficient methods for parameter estimation of the three-parameter Weibull distribution under censored data have not existed yet. Although it is the Cohen and Whitten's modified maximum likelihood method that is best known, there is information loss in this method, because of including a moment equation.

In this paper we propose two methods for parameter estimation of the three-parameter Weibull distribution based on the type-2 right censored samples.
