Design and electromagnetic simulation of magnet levitation system using Neodymium magnet

(in English) The magnetic levitation technology is widely used in the various fields of industry such as the linear motor car, the magnetic elevator, magnetic bearings, etc. The magnetic levitation system based on an electromagnet can weak supply only force, and strong electric current was required to obtain enough large levitation force and therefore levitation equipment result in very large size. On the other hand, recent progress of a ferromagnetism make it possible to composed of small scale magnetic levitation equipments with low cost. However, such a small scale system usually requires us to construct quick response feedback control. This paper presents a design tool of control system for such a small scale magnetic levitation system by combining magnetic field simulation.
