Obstruct sleep apnea (OSA) is diagnosed by the Polysomnography (PSG). However, PSG is inconvenient, expensive and unsuited for community screening. Snoring is the most common symptom of OSA. Recently, snoring sound is divided into apneic and benign snores. These snores should consist of several characteristic patterns such as a pitch. In this paper, we investigate whether the patterns of snoring sound are classified by using SOM (self organized map). |
