On Fair Bandwidth Allocation in Diffusion-type Flow Control

(in English) We have proposed ``diffusion-type flow control (DFC)'' as a control mechanism that satisfies a severe control delay demand in the high-speed network. In DFC, each node autonomously manages its local traffic flow by using only the local information directly available to it. However, local decision making of individual node mutually cooperates and consequently the network can avoid congestion. To achieve the above mechanism for multiple flow environment, it is necessary to design the bandwidth assignment among flows. However, the bandwidth assignment for dynamic and complex situations have not be sufficiently considered. In this report, we consider the bandwidth assignment in diffusion-type flow control for multiple flow environment. As a result, we improve the fairness of the bandwidth among flows, and verify an appropriate bandwidth assignment for a dynamic environment by simulation study.
