The emerging P2P (Peer to Peer) model has become more powerful and attractive as a network model for sharing of the Internet resources and streaming media contents than the conventional client/server model due to its scalability and distributed feature. While P2P network is tolerant to failures, it is vulnerable to attacks enomously. That is because that the
P2P network has scalefree distribution. In this paper, we propose a bimodal P2P network, which follows bimodal degree distribution. The proposed method achieves high tolerance to both attacks and failures through the simulation. |
