Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have employed frequency domain interferometry (FDI) for medical acoustic imaging to detect multiple targets with high range resolution. The range resolution of FDI with Capon method using only a single reference wave deteriorates severely because it is assumed that the waveform of an echo is identical to the reference waveform. Therefore we proposed FDI method with using the optimized reference waves. The proposed target detection method using optimized reference waves is clarified to have higher range resolution than the conventional one. The proposed method is also able to distinct two target boundaries that lied 0.05mm apart in our experiment.
