Frequency Characteristic and Application of Lightweight Phantom by Wave Absorber

(in English) We have proposed a lightweight human phantom consisting of a plastic shell and electromagnetic wave absorbers, and evaluated its characteristics by measurement at 1850MHz.
In this report we show the characteristics of this phantom in 900MHz band.
To obtain the human equivalent head phantom at 900MHz, we use two-layer absorbers inside the shell.
This new structure provides the human equivalent radiation pattern measurement results in the presence of a cellular phone.
The lightweight upper body phantom including hand, arm and shoulder, is also examined for this model in simulation.
The radiation patterns show good agreement with those of the human in the measurement of cellular phone characteristics.
At last, we also investigate the SAR characteristic by the lightweight phantom by calculating the surface distributions of electrical field strength along the phantom.
