We designed superconducting miniaturized 8-pole bandpass filter (BPF) using Quasi-spiral resonator (QSR) with 10 μm line & space. The frequency performance of 8-pole BPF was degraded because many unwanted cross couplings were generated. Many unwanted cross couplings were decreased using line inverters for improving frequency performances. It was possible to design 4-pole QSR BPF with Cascaded Quadruplet (CQ) by decreasing unwanted cross couplings using line inverters. The 8-pole QSR BPF with two CQ structures was designed and fabricated using NbN thin film. It is good agreement with simulated one. |
