Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In fiber-optic systems, a photodiode (PD) array is size-effective for multi-channel level monitoring. However, it has crosstalk current between each PDs. In this paper, we report investigations of crosstalk mechanism of the PD array, and optimum design for crosstalk suppressing. Several types of 8-channel PD-arrays were fabricated, and optimum PD-array improved the crosstalk by 13 dB compared with the conventional one.
